Context for every address, phone, IP, bank and business
GeoEnrich adds geographic, demographic, phone area code, IP address, bank routing and legal entity data to your customer and counterparty records — plus alternative data such as gang territory that traditional AML systems don’t carry.
Six enrichment sets from one call
Send what you already collect. GeoEnrich returns the fields below, ready for risk rating, monitoring and investigations.
Geographic
Country, state, county, CBSA code, type and name, city, region and neighborhood, zip centroid latitude and longitude, and miles to the Southwest and Northern borders.
Demographic
Median age, income and education by zip, and a 5-tier elderly concentration category for residents 62 and older.
Phone area code
State, latitude and longitude for the area code, so a phone number can be compared with an address or IP location.
IP address
IPv4 or IPv6 type, country, region, city, zip, latitude, longitude and time zone.
Bank routing
Institution name, city and state, FDIC class, federal or state charter, specialization, assets, deposits, net income, office counts, de novo, community bank and CFPB flags — plus branch footprint and nearest branch.
Legal entity
Individual vs. business classification from the name, matching business registry records with status, locale, formation date and address, registered agent and shared-address indicators, and MSB status.
Signals traditional AML data doesn’t carry
Curated datasets that add a detection layer to zip-code risk.
Gang territory
Curated gang territory data across all 50 states. Street gangs are moving from drug trafficking into identity, check and benefits fraud because sentences are lighter. Overlaying transactions on gang-active areas adds a signal most monitoring misses.
Industry concentration
Counts per zip of MSBs, NBFIs, cash-intensive businesses, payment service providers, TPPPs, gambling, NGOs, private ATM operators, correspondent banks and foreign consulates.
Crypto company watchlist
Counterparty names checked against a curated list of exchanges, DeFi platforms and virtual asset service providers, for enhanced monitoring under FinCEN’s virtual currency guidance.
Entity red flags regulators expect you to catch
FFIEC frames entity risk by sector, structure and address. FinCEN’s shell-company and BEC guidance make these control points explicit.
MSB and high-risk sectors
There is no official blacklist of NAICS codes, but FFIEC expects a sector-based risk model covering MSBs/NBFIs, cash-intensive businesses, independent ATM operators and entities whose source of funds is hard to validate. GeoEnrich flags MSB registration and concentration by zip.
Registered agent and shared address
Businesses that share an address, or give only a registered agent’s address, are a named red flag. It matters most when combined with no real operating footprint, opaque ownership, many entities at one address, or recent formation followed by unusual payments.
Business impersonation
Criminals impersonate real counterparties with lookalike names, websites, addresses and registrations. Newly formed entities that mimic established businesses are squarely within the red flags regulators expect firms to detect.
NAICS code prediction
When a NAICS code isn’t available, our NLP model predicts it from the entity name and address, then flags high-risk AML and fraud sectors automatically.
